Basic Skills Necessary:

  • operate a sewing machine
  • cut fabric


  • 1/3 yard corduroy (for face)
  • 2/3 yard cotton fabric (for tummy, back + handles)
  • 1/2 yard lightweight fabric (for lining)
  • 1/3 yard, Fat Quarter or large scraps (for wings)
  • 1 1/4 yards ligt to medium fusible interfacing
  • felt scraps (for eyes)
  • fabric scrap (for beak)
  • 1/2 yard 5/8" wide ric rac, optional

You Will Also Need:

  • basic sewing supplies
