Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic serger sewing

Pattern Description:

This hat give me a lot of funny stories, and I love it. One day late at night I was going home and it was freezing outside. It was late and two girls are seating on the cold with there coffee and smoke and one of them say to other one look what a crazy hat. And after a few seconds I realized that they did talk about my hat.
Second story was in a copy shop I came there, to do something, and instead of Good Day, the lady behind the desk sad Wow, what a good hat. And me E..e.eam good day.
And the last is from today: I went with my kid to the kindergarten, and before I manage to put everything on them one of the girls did take my had and put it on her head on top of hers, and at first you just smile, and then you really go out like that, (we live close to the kindergarten), and I almost forgot to take it off when we came there.

So this is super, and I mean really super easy project to make. It could be even super cheep, because you could use your old sweater and cut it from it. It is totally perfect for a beginner, and I did use some jersey for lining, because I don(tm)t like wool to itchy me on my face. So actually all you need to do is was wool sweater in hot water and a little bit of cutting and sewing and you get a super funky and Wow, warm hat. The button embellishments are totally up to you.
