I created a sewing pattern and wrote a simple and easy step by step instructions. And I offer you my sewing pattern and instructions.

Now you have a great tool that will help you sew beautiful lined drawstring backpack. Backpack with adjustable shoulder cords. 2 front pockets on outside of backpack. Pockets with flaps.

When you have your own sewing pattern you can create any combination or variation you want. You can start your own small business and sell backpacks in your store.


All the measurements in my sewing pattern and instructions are in both inches (in) and centimeters (cm). You will be able to print the sewing pattern pieces out on US Letter size paper. Sewing pattern requires printing 12 US Letter sized pages. Please do not print instructions. So it is in your computer.


US Letter: 8.5 x 11.0 inch (21,6 x 27,9 cm)


I made sewing pattern without seam allowances. Please follow my step by step instructions to help you add the seam allowances. Pockets, flaps, loops, drawstring closure and decorative element placement lines from sides = measurements in my instructions + 1 inch (2,5 cm). The placement lines are only guides. You can change them.
