Basic Skills Necessary:

  • How to sew double fold bias tape

Pattern Description:

This pattern is the perfect opportunity to sew on laminated cotton and to sew double fold bias tape! It's insulated and big enough to hold plastic storage containers.

If you don't like the choices of laminated cotton, why not try iron-on vinyl!?

Because you don't want to pin laminated cotton, spray your fabric sandwich with basting spray and use Goody snap hair clips.

In the ZIP file, I've included a tutorial on how to make/sew double fold bias tape. This will give you an option of making your own.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • the bottom of the bag is 6" x 9"; it's 9.5" tall

  • laminated cotton fabric, Insul-Bright, extra wide double fold bias tape, side release buckle, and 1" webbing.

You Will Also Need:

  • walking foot and quilt basting spray
  • Goody snap hair clips
