I doubled the interfacing because I like the extra sturdiness, and that the inside doesn't sag. This made turning the hat difficult. I also had trouble getting everything to line up. and so there was some puckering along the brim. I do like the wide brim, and my daughter loves the hat. She is 7 and it is pretty snug so I am not sure it could fit someone much older. The largest size fits better on my 4 year old.
