Basic Skills Necessary:

Pattern Description:

All the years I've been knitting I've been looking for the purrfect knitting bag. Most are too deep, either don't close at the top (making it easy for things to fall out) or don't open completely (making it difficult to see everything inside) and are usually lined with dark fabric which makes it near impossible to find any stray tools without tipping everything out!
So I set out to make my perfect knitting bag. Not too deep, long enough to contain straight knitting needles or Tunisian crochet hooks, an open ended zip closure to keep everything inside whilst on the move but to open completely when in use and side walls stiff enough to stand up on their own. And last but not least, handles the right length to fit comfortably over my shoulder.
So here goes.... Hope this one is purrfect for you too!

  • Cotton fabric - 1 piece 51 x 49cm, 1 piece 83 x 17 cm, 2 pieces 101 x 6 cm
  • Felt - 1 piece 51 x 49cm, 1 piece 83 x 17cm, 2 pieces 101 x 6 cm
