Pattern Description:

This is a great bag for ALL kinds of things. Gifts, organizing, packing shoes in suitcase, party favors, selling merchandise, etc. Makes a good Trick or Treat bag for Halloween or Valentine's Day treats. Even kids can sew this! 3 sizes included in instructions.

I've taught beginning sewing for five years to ages 8 and up to adults. I saw the need for clear instructions with good diagrams/photos for beginners. You beginners can make this small bag, with these easy step my step instructions.

This is a pdf file. You can print it out on 8.5x11 inch paper. BE SURE to set print to "actual size" not "fit", or your pattern will not be the correct size. BE SURE you have Adobe Acrobat Reader (which you can download for free http://www.adobe-reader.org/).

  • large safety pin or bodkin for inserting cord
