About the Designer
I learnt to hand stitch when I was 7. It was the blanket stitch. When I was 12, I learnt the satin stitch. Many years later, I bought my first sewing machine and attended a dressmaking course at a Dressmaking Institute. I was taught by a teacher who believed in drafting and sewing from scratch. Today, I can't sew an outfit to save my life! Long story short, I sewed everything from blankets, ...

Many years later, I bought my first sewing machine and attended a dressmaking course at a Dressmaking Institute. I was taught by a teacher who believed in drafting and sewing from scratch. Today, I can't sew an outfit to save my life! Long story short, I sewed everything from blankets, bedsheets to clothes for my niece. When I had my own kids, I sewed dolls outfits for my girl's Barbie. One day, I made a bag for Barbie and there was no turning back. My love for bag-making grew from there. Now I teach others to make bags.
