Basic Skills Necessary:

  • A beginner with some experience, comfortable with sewing machine. Very clear photo/illustrated pattern.

Pattern Description:

This pattern combines two of my favorite bag types: the tote and drawstring. Totes are handy but very open.
Drawstring bags are great but limp. So I combined them. This bag has lots of body, a soft draw closure, which creates an attractive ruffle and gathering.
The cover fabric is a cotton print. The Lining, a Home Dec fabric, gives body and shape creating a truly beautiful bag. Pattern includes two inside pockets. See photo.
This pattern has 12 pages, each step includes a photo and / or an illustration.
Once you've made one you can easily change the size, larger or smaller.
