  • Fuse interfacing and batting
  • Bind

Pattern Description:

Grab all of your essentials and more with this handy purse-like backpack! It's easy and fun to carry. Use fabric that most describes your taste and style. By quilting the fabric you will be giving this bag stability and shape. Features include a drawstring closure, tab handle, straps and coordinating fabrics inside and out!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • When bag is filled with all your favorite goodies, size will be:
  • 12" Tall
  • 10" Wide


  • 2 yards of fabric (choose 2 different coordinating fabrics)
  • 1 1/4 yard of low-loft fusible fleece
  • 1 yard of fusible interfacing (featherweight)
  • 1 DIY fabric covered button (3/4" wide)

You Will Also Need:

  • thread
  • Walking foot attachment for your sewing machine
  • Ruler
  • Water-soluble fabric marker
