After receiving an iPad for Christmas last year (2012) I decided I need a messenger bag to go along with it. That was how the Canvas Messenger Bag came to life. This bag was popular with friends and so I've made several since then.
This messenger bag pattern is ideal for those who love to create things that are functional or thoughtful as gifts. Tablets are wildly popular these days and a messenger bag is a fantastic way of carrying them. This type of bag is popular with young adults from students to professionals. You won't go wrong with this pattern.
The bag features a carefully designed pocket just the right size for 10" tablets and will hold tablets 7" and smaller as well. The bag has a back pocket that is secured with Velcro and is the perfect place to carry valuables such as money, jewelry and wallets. Inside there is plenty of room for a few books, a sweater or anything else that you need to carry along with you. The flap of this bag is the perfect place for graphics, embroidery and anything else you want, to show your individuality. I've found that many people like the robots I have embroidered on my bags. I've also embroidered zombies and vintage logos. Use your imagination and I'm sure you'll come up with something that is perfect for you.
