Pattern Description:

This pretty tote is perfect for every lady who appreciates carrying a stylish bag with lots of pockets to hold her essentials!

These very easy instructions are great for those with at least basic sewing skills. It has two exterior pocket topped with easy to sew elastic casings to keep your favorite items secure yet easy to reach. There are also instructions for two different types of interior pockets - a simple patch pocket or a hidden zipper pocket for more advanced sew-ers.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

10" tall x 15" wide x 2 1/2" deep

Materials:

1/2 yard exterior fabric
5/8 yard fabric for exterior pockets
1 1/4 yard coordinating fabric for lining, straps, and bottom
1 1/4 yard fusible fleece interfacing (I like Pellon 987F)
1 package 5/8" elastic
1 button between 1 1/4" to 2" (a button with a shank will work best for this project)
12" zipper (optional - if making the zipper pocket)

coordinating thread
safety pin (to pull the elastic through the casing)
sewing gauge
