Pattern Description:

This PDF pattern is for a zippered cosmetic bag with an attached brush roll. It's made using Heat n Bond Iron On Vinyl (very easy to use!). The outside is quilted with straight rows of stitching; the brush roll is sewn together using 1/2" binding/bias tape (that you'll make). You can use Velcro rather than twist locks. You can purchase the twist locks online at Purse Supply Depot.

This project is a bit advanced, so you want to be comfortable sewing. There are a lot of little steps, so I provided a project overview to make it easier to follow.

I've made a lot of these and have taught this as a class twice; as a class, it took about five hours to complete....but sometimes the talking takes over the sewing, so it may not take as long. When you are making the bias/binding tape, take your time. I encourage you to make a sample and save it on the page provided. Every one of these made in class were beautiful and well-made!
