The PDF Twisting Spiral Heart quilt block pattern contains clearly labeled paper piecing sections & complete how-tos to sew the design in a range of sizes. The pattern pieces as given make a 6" (15.24 cm) block; for other sizes, use the handy percentages chart to enlarge or reduce the pattern to your desired block size.
A coloring page is also provided for you to experiment with your own color schemes and variations before cutting into your precious fabrics. I happily provide email support for questions with sewing the block pattern.
I have a passion for designing spirals, especially those that do interesting things like form hearts, or roses, or snail shells. One of the great features about paper pieced spirals is that the designs look complex, but the paper piecing itself is quite straight-forward. The designs unfurl right before your eyes as you sew them. Such fun!
Basic paper piecing instructions are NOT included. For personal use only.
