Pattern Description:

I recently read John Green's The Fault in Our Stars in preparation for a design challenge over at Fandom in Stitches. The image of the orange tulips was one of the most compelling for me, so I designed a pattern incorporating the orange tulips with an edited quote from the book.

This is a fairly simple pattern, and you can leave the embroidered words off if desired. The tulips by themselves would look great pieced in rows for a spring quilt, especially if you print the pattern backwards for alternating blocks.

The pattern includes pieces to create a 10" finished block, as well as an additional 7" template that can be used as a reference or to create a slightly smaller block.

All of my fandom patterns are completely free and are presented as a form of fan art. I hold copyright on the pattern only and not the original fandom from which it was derived. Selling works created from this pattern and reselling this pattern are strictly prohibited. For personal and nonprofit use only. Please respect the fandoms that we love by adhering to these requirements.
