Pattern Description:

The PDF Swiss Daisy quilt block pattern contains clearly labeled paper piecing pattern sections & complete instructions to sew the design in a range of sizes. The pattern pieces as given make a 6" (15.24 cm) block; for other sizes, use the handy percentages chart to enlarge or reduce the pattern to your desired block size. You'll receive the patterns for the daisy as shown, as well as the mirror image.

The Swiss Daisy block is an INTERMEDIATE to ADVANCED paper piecing project. Block construction can be done with either a single foundation unit or multiple units; complete pattern pieces and instructions are provided for both techniques.

When Swiss Daisy blocks are set side by side in a quilt, something wonderful happens - the daisies transform into edelweiss blossoms! Swiss Daisy also works well with my Octagonia block, as seen in the fifth image down.

Coloring pages are also provided for you to experiment with your own color schemes and variations before cutting into your precious fabrics.
