ilove the colors in block three!? I was wondering if you ever tried doubling the size and how that worked for you? I like the mini quilt pictured in finished projects but I would like it bigger for a wall hanging
One of your points on the outside is different then the rest,is that the way it is suppose to be
Hello,I do not know how one point could be different as the pattern is made with only 1 point that you sew 8 times plus 2 borders that you sew 4 times. So all the point should be the same. Could you give me more detail or send me a picture of your block so I could understand and help? please write at cyrille.zellweger (at) gmail.com. Thanks!
In the picture, the bottom star point has the blue & purple color sequence reversed from what the other points show.
Oh! I understand now what you mean :-) I will correct the picture. But do not worry that makes no change to the pattern, it is just an error on this image. Thank a lot for having let me know!
The colored pattern as shown here would be terrific framed and handing on the wall.
Thanks for your kind comment. Happy sewing!
The patterns alone would be great framed !
I just finished my very first quilt ever. Done with stash paks from Walmart. I found this site and your pattern. I love these colors and have ordered the pattern and some fabrics that I "think" are in this picture. I do hope this isn't o difficult to do. I will do a wall hanging size first. Wish me luck as I only have a basic Singer machine to do this on.
Hello, Do not worry, paper piecing is not very quick but always easy" Also want to let you know that I sew all my quilts with an old Singer from 1952 that only make simple stitches :-) You do not need much! Good luck and let me know!
I love the additional items needed: tea and chocolate!
We too often forget the essential... don't we?
This is so beautiful. I just love all the colors and it doesn`t look to hard to make.
Love your patterns and look forward to ordering!
