Pattern Description:

Paper Piecing Pattern #208 Something Springy
Finished block size: 12 inch
This is for a PDF pattern.


Something Springy is a paper piecing star that first appeared in Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks Magazine, Vol.6 in Fall of 2012. Now it is available to purchase!!

This block is a fabulous way to use up your scraps!

Pattern includes:
:: Pattern for a 12 inch finished block (print 4)
:: Cutting templates for larger sections
:: 2 pages of coloring pages (single block and a repeat)

Cutting Templates are a great way to reduce fabric waste when paper piecing. They also speed up the process, and are a super easy way to fussy cut your fabrics!

You Will Also Need:

  • lots of fabric scraps!
  • strips: 1.25 inches wide, ranging from 2.5 inches to 6 inches long
  • larger scraps for the center and outer pieces
