The PDF Rosie's Rose quilt block pattern contains clearly labeled paper piecing pattern sections & complete instructions to sew the design in a range of sizes. The pattern pieces as given make a 6" (15.24 cm) block; for other sizes, use the handy percentages chart to enlarge or reduce the pattern to your desired block size.
You'll receive patterns for the rose as shown, as well as the mirror image.
The beautiful "Rosie's Rose" paper pieced quilt block looks complicated, but is really quite easy to sew. Make a more naturalistic looking rose using subtle variations of the same color group, such as soft pinks or yellows. Choosing bright, more contrasting tones will give your rose a more modern, graphic appeal. No matter what your color choice, you'll love watching your rose "bloom" as you sew the fabric pieces from the center outward.
A coloring page is also provided, for you to experiment with
your own color schemes and variations before cutting into your precious fabrics.
