I love journals, but hate using them up - so I designed this quilted cover for a composition notebook. Now I can write as much as I like and be able to use my beautiful journal as long as I want to - just swap out a new notebook as needed! These are so much fun to make, are terrific as gifts, and you are welcome to make these and sell them as well - they have been a huge hit as bible covers locally. You definitely won't want to make just one of these!
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Fits a standard size composition notebook
- How to figure dimensions for making different sizes
Materials:
- Focal fabric
- 12 x 20 fabric for backing
- 12 x 20 batting
- scraps of assorted fabrics to go with your focus
You Will Also Need:
- sewing machine
- thread
- pencil or other fabric marking tool
- imagination!
