Who doesn't love a good plaid?

Whether you're wanting an oversized tartan or a small scale weave, this pattern has all the information you need to create whatever plaid you have in mind!

NOTE re: yardage requirements: As you'll see from the pattern, I included a range of block sizes but haven't yet calculated yardage requirements for each and every one. I did, however, map out yardage for the smallest (14") and largest (126") blocks, so at least you'll have an idea of the range involved. To calculate more precise yardage, use the strip lengths to determine how many strips you'll need to cut from the ~42" width of your fabric and work from there. I'll be doing the same in the near future, and will update this file once I've double-checked those calculations ;)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • measurements for blocks ranging from 14" to 126" included

  • 15 fabrics (white, 4 light values, 10 darker values)
  • *or* three fabrics (white, medium, dark)
