Pattern Description:

I designed this block as part of a road trip themed quilt that I have been planning.

My husband always likes to keep the car several degrees cooler than I feel is comfortable when we take trips and I want to have a blanket to keep in the car. If you have a similar story, this may be the quilt for you!

This is the first block of what I hope to be a 9 block lap blanket.

The block is 10" finished and can be made using any color combination you have available in your stash. If you don't feel like making a whole quilt, it would make a good cushion or can be used as the panel of a tote or any other number of things...let you imagination go wild :)

Paper piecing instructions are not included but there are lots of great tutorials available online. Each section has been labelled and seam allowances have been added for each section. I suggest you set your printer to "no page scaling".
