Skill Level:

medium skill level requirement Intermediate

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • How to sew 1/2 seam allowance

Pattern Description:

This quilt was made for an antique bed. This is the perfect size for a full size bed with about an 8" hangover. You can make this quilt using 1930's fabrics and hand dyed fabrics. The combination to use both of these fabrics, gives it a fresh look to an old-fashioned quilt. You will enjoy coming up with the combinations of solids and prints, and the blocks flow well together because of the small prints of the 1930's. If you want to make a smaller quilt just decrease the number of blocks.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 97 x 78- inches using 12-inch blocks

  • general quilting supplies
