Pattern Description:

Memphis, Tennessee has always been known for its music, particularly the blues. The rainbow color design was
reminiscent of horns, particularly saxophones, and it just seemed to suggest the "Music Beat" of the city.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 40" x 56"

Materials:

  • FABRIC: 1/2 yard each of a pink fabric, an orange fabric, a red fabric, a green fabric, a yellow fabric & a periwinkle fabric 6 fat quarters of muted colors that will coordinate with the colors above - pink, orange, red, green, yellow, periwinkle 1 1/4 yard of a black & white fabric 1 yard of black fabric 1/2 yard for border of a dark contrasting black & white fabric (See quilt picture for ideas.) 3 yards fabric for backing batting thread

  • scissors, rotary cutter, cutting mat and ruler
