The PDF Hexadaisy quilt block pattern contains clearly labeled paper piecing pattern sections and complete instructions to sew the design in a range of sizes. The pattern pieces as given make a 24 inch and 60 cm medallion; for other sizes, use the handy percentages chart to enlarge or reduce the pattern to your desired size. The design is easily resizable up to 40" square (just copy the foundation units onto 11x14" or A3 paper).
The Hexadaisy looks intricate, but is made up of very easy-to-piece foundation units. Choose 2, 3 or 6 main colors for the rings, with two shades of each main color to create a dimensional effect. What a stunning centerpiece for a baby quilt, lap quilt or wall-hanging!
Please note -- the pattern is for the Hexadaisy motif ONLY, and does NOT include pattern pieces or instructions for the pieced border shown in the second graphic.
A coloring page is also provided, for you to experiment with your own colorways. I happily provide email support for questions with sewing the pattern - reach me via piecebynumber.com/contact.htm
Basic paper piecing (also called foundation piecing) instructions are not included. Visit piecebynumber.com/links.htm for links to my favorite on-line paper piecing tutorials!
