This block was created as an element for a larger art quilt. It is a simple yet elegant four pointed star, and can be used alone as a small wall hanging, part of a table runner, pot holder, coaster, mug rug, or can be used as an element in a larger quilt design. The 12" square could even be used to make a large full sized quilt.
This pdf quilt block pattern includes three different sizes: 4"x4", 6"x6" and 12"x12".

I'm a nature-loving yogini, crafty chick, photographer, and dedicated stay home momma and wife. I've been a crafter my entire life, but recently have been bitten by the quilting bug! I started quilting a little over a year ago, inspired by my Grammy June. I recently discovered that with paper piecing, you can make ANYthing you desire come to life with fabric. As a stay home mom of two little ones, my only sewing time is after the kids are in bed, thus: The Night Quilter was born. I grab a needle and thread once the kids are in bed!
