Pattern Description:

Need a really accurate way to make flying geese for your quilt borders? Then this is it!

Use this pattern and follow my free tutorial on how to foundation piece the block and not only will you have perfect points, but you won't waste much fabric either. Please feel free to reduce or enlarge the pattern to fit your project, but if you follow my tutorial remember you'll have to alter the fabric sizes as well.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 3.5" / 9cm


  • Sewing machine
  • Paper
  • Pins
  • 5 1/4" square of main fabric
  • 3.5" x 17" strip of fabric in your secondary fabric
  • Sewing thread to match your fabric
  • Scissors / rotary cutter and mat
  • Iron and ironing board
  • Spray starch may be useful depending on your fabric
