Pattern Description:

I was inspired to design this pattern by the lovely town where my sister lives: Mt. Crested Butte, CO! This pattern is made in the spitting image of the town's namesake mountain, although you could use it for any of your mountain needs!

I've stitched one up here inspired by a beautiful blue bird pow day, but you can go for a more summery feel, or even woodsy, depending on your fabric choices!

I've added a border to turn it into a couch cushion, you could do the same, or turn it into a mini quilt, or even make multiples and create a mountain quilt!

Block finishes at 18" by 11.75" (17.5" by 11.25", accounting for seam allowance). Be sure to print the image at 100%, or it'll shrink down! If you want to square the block up without adding sashing, add an additional rectangle to the top (sky) or bottom (mountain) measuring 6.75" by 18".

Paper piecing instructions are not included. Each section is labeled and numbered. This pattern is suitable for novice paper piecers.

Handmade items, made by the purchaser of the pattern, may be sold on a small scale. If items are sold, or entered in Quilt Shows/competitions credit must be given to Green Cheese Quilting and must include the blog address (www.greencheesequilting.blogspot.com)
