Meet my newest pattern, Celestial Star! This is one of the most versatile pattern I've seen. The design possibilities are endless. Purchase one pattern, and create an endless number of designs. This would also be great as the center of a medallion quilt!

Check out hastag #CelestialStarQAL on Instagram and see the different designs people are making!

Included in this pattern:
:: Basic Instructions about this pattern
:: Pattern pieces for three different sizes: 12in, 18in, and 24in finished block
::Cutting templates for each size (these are a great way to minimize fabric waste. Cut out the centers for perfect fussy cutting!)
:: Border pattern pieces
:: Cutting templates for border pieces
:: 5 pages of coloring pages (includes single block, block on repeat and the block with the border. A great way to plan your design before cutting into your fabrics.)

I do not include paper piecing instructions, but you can find a full tutorial on my blog here:

Feel free to sell items made with this pattern on a small scale. If you are making things in a group, each group member must person a pattern. This is for individual use only. All rights reserved.

Want to participate in a Quilt Along?! I will be hosting a quilt along July 2014. See my blog for details:

People have asked how I create so many blocks with just one pattern. Here are some blog posts I wrote as part of the QAL that will hopefully help you out:

This post talks about color and value. These are important to pay attention to in order to create a design that pops! Or not pop, if that's not what you are going for. :) It also shows how I used the coloring pages to come up with designs.

This post talks about design and shows each of the blocks I created. You should be able to use these pictures for reference, and can transfer them to the coloring pages at the end of the pattern. I also share how I used value for picking fabric.

There is also a post about cutting templates. These make crating certain blocks much much easier!!
