Pattern Description:

Inspired by my gorgeous friend Lara @ Luellabella, I designed this pattern for a paper piecing bee we're in (Wombat Stew) where the theme was Japanese cuisine.

The pattern makes a 8" x 12" block - perfect for a place mat, or a mini quilt.

There are a few angles in this pattern which will require a bit of patience. You can find a tutorial to help with angles on my blog (quietplay.blogspot.com.au).

Paper piecing instructions are not included. Each section is clearly labelled and seam allowance has been added for each section. All you need to do is print it out and away you go :) I suggest that you print to "Actual size".
