Pattern Description:

This bear block is a versatile design for many kind of project, as man quilt, cabin quilt, wall hanging, table mats or a cussion ! Just follow your imagination !
This PDF quilt block pattern includes clearly labeled paper piecing pattern sections for both left and right facing block, clear color chart and comprehensive instructions to sew the block in a range of sizes with a size chart to reduce or enlarge the pattern from 8" to 6", 10" or 12 ".

This pattern does not contain basic paper piecing instructions. If you are a beginner, you can find several good tutorial on Internet to learn the technic. I can provide some links if required.

All designs, instructions and illustrations in my patterns are copyrighted by me. "Sharing" of this pattern by any means is not allowed. Excellent Osito Quilt  March 23, 2013

This is a really easy and fun pattern to put together. My only small concern is that some of the pieces are really tiny, so you really have to be careful in following the sewing line accurately to get good results. I enlarged the pattern to a 12-inch block, and even so, I was a bit off on the ear and one of the hind paws. However, the block still turned out great, and only I know that I messed up. Excellent Adorable!  September 20, 2012

I purchased this pattern only after scouring the internet to find a free bear pattern. When none could be found, I caved and purchased this adorable pattern on Craftsy. I'm really glad I did, because not only did he come out super duper cute, but he was pretty easy to put together too.

I blew up the pattern 140% and made the block about 16 inches. Even on a larger scale this pattern worked out great (and I wouldn't have wanted to use a smaller scale for the heavy fabrics I used!). ...
