Pattern Description:

The Play Day Outfit Petite Applique Pattern is one of a series of Dainty Petite Applique patterns. The Play Day Outfit Applique incorporates three pattern pieces. You create a fully completed top with pin tucks, bridging on top and sleeve hems and pants with a fabric ruffle. This applique is a good use for your scrap fabric and trim. The pattern fits an approximate 8" square of fabric; however, the pattern is sizable up or down depending on your preference. The finished dress is a hand applique process to a quilt square, garment, purse, jacket or item of your choice. You can also frame the applique. The pattern is versatile and construction in many combinations of fabric and trim is possible. Try changing out the fabric ruffle with gathered eyelet or insertion lace in place of the bridging.
