Skill Level:

little skill level requirement Novice

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic Sewing Skills

Pattern Description:

This is a great pattern for the beginner quilter or for someone who is trying to master their Free Motion Quilting skills. This pattern makes use of negative space, which is a hallmark of the Modern Quilting Movement.
Fussy Cutting your picture fabrics gives the quilter the ability to showcase special fabrics - perhaps fabrics that have been hiding in your stash waiting for the right project. The frames themselves are a great way to add a pop of contrasting color to the overall look of the quilt.
The King size version is 4 of the lap size sewn together. There are a couple of different ways to arrange the king size quilt. This is an excellent pattern that sews together quickly.

  • Lap/Baby Quilt - 52" x 52"
