I LOVE this design! It may or may not be new, but this specific pattern was drafted by me. I was a little unsure when I started this project, but the end results were stunning! The colors I used gave it a total '70's feel, thus the name, "70's Geese".
This is a fun paper piecing pattern with SO many options as to how to put it together. The results are endless! Be creative and play around with the positive and negative shapes! Pattern also includes variation for octagon finished shape (see first photo).
I'd love to see what you create with this! Please share your 70's Geese in my flickr group: http://www.flickr.com/groups/fromblankpages/
This pattern does not come with instructions for paper piecing, but I do have a complete tutorial on my blog that includes: Supplies, Cutting your fabric, Piecing your blocks, and Finishing your block. It is great for beginners and those who are still fairly new to paper piecing. You can find it here: http://fromblankpages.blogspot.com/2012/05/two-stars-squared-paper-piecing.html
