Pattern Description:

This sweet cuddly quilt is perfect for a baby. Use soft or bright colors. Find a preprinted children's panel for the back, to make this a double quilt, two for the work of one. Since I collect teddy bears, I thought a bear quilt would be ideal. Four of these bears could be sewn together to make a large quilt. Very easy piecing, everything except the ears and eyes are made from squares and rectangles. A fun four patch technique is used for the border. Vary the colors and use different novelty prints for the alternating squares.

Although I have been playing with fabrics and threads since childhood, I didn't make my first quilt until 1969, but by 1982 quilting became my passion. ...
