Pattern Description:

What a wonderful way to show your quilty love for a new baby or another sweet one in your life - with hugs and kisses! Using Xs and Os to represent hugs and kisses dates back to the early 1900s and has been used throughout the years in letters, and now in modern times in emails and text messages. You can use this quilt to represent your hugs and kisses, using a simple quilting technique, stitch-and-flip squares.

Directions are given for baby size, lap size, twin size, and queen/king size quilts.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Baby size - 36" x 48"
  • Lap size - 60" x 72"
  • Twin size - 72" x 84"
  • Queen/King - 96" x 108"
