  • machine sewing, ironing, cutting - no more than what you do for the Craftsy BOM

Pattern Description:

If you can't get enough of the fun Craftsy BOM, and you are knee-deep in little fabric strips, these lighthearted companion Buddies are for you! Although both are modern stylish circles, one is simple strips and the second updates the traditional Crazy Quilt patch. Both circles are fused and appliqued onto the block with a simple machine blanket stitch - but a simple zigzag stitch will do the job!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 12.5" square block


  • sewing machine, iron, Steam-a-Seam II or other fusible

You Will Also Need:

  • water-soluble marking pen, paper for template or optional Rachel Shelburne's Simply Crazy template

Excellent These blocks were my first projects on craftsy  September 27, 2012

I had so much fun making over 50 of these circles before I decided to do something with them.
I have now completed 2 quilts with this block, 2 tote bags and several caserole carriers.
I am enjoying trying to invent ways to use up these delightful circles / BOM buddies.
