Pattern Description:

Can't you just see this little guy swooshing down the slopes at the Olympics at Sochi? So cute!

This pattern is a great way to learn both fusible and freezer paper applique. I have included a detailed tutorial with over 25 photos as I believe a picture is worth a thousand words and who wants to read a thousand word tutorial anyway :-)

You can make it with or without a border, just depends on the look you want and how much time you have to spend.

If you want to better your free motion quilting skills this is a good place to practice. You will be FMQ the snow and going around all the edges of your fusible pieces.

I am always happy to answer any questions along the way. I love to talk to other quilters. Go to my website at and send me an email anytime.
