Pattern Description:

Fluffy white chenille like seams and bold bright accent colors make this quilt a classic beauty. Each striped triangle is sewn individually and then appliqued to the front of the quilt. The white triangles are sewn in a quilt as you go method so that when all the triangles are attached to the quilt, the quilting is finished. The appliques are raw edged to add a soft, relaxed texture to the quilt.

The binding is a shortcut method where the edges are sewn all around and then clipped to fringe. The inside seams are clipped also to give the chenille texture to the quilt.

Every step in this quilt was planned to create the most beautiful quilt possible in the most efficient way possible. There are numbered steps and photographs to guide you.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Approximately 52x51 inches (132x129cm)

  • 3 1/2 yards (3.2m) solid white cotton fabric for front of the quilt (you will need 4 1/2 yards (4.11m) if the fabric is less than 45 inches (114cm) wide).
  • 4 1/2 yards (4.11m) solid white flannel for the back.
