This quilt is named after the method of construction as well as from its final appearance. It's fun quilt to make either large or small, and great as a gift that you don't want to spend the next decade making!
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Quilt size: 40" x 64" with pieced borders, 52" x 72" with unpieced borders
Materials:
- For Scrappy quilt background: ? yard each of 12 fabrics OR For quilt using all one background: 3 yards
- Stars: 1/4 yard each of 12 fabrics
- Inner border: ? yard
- Outer border: 1 ? yards, cut lengthwise or 1 ? yards, cut crosswise
- Backing: 3 1/4 yards, seamed crosswise or 4 1/4 yards, seamed lengthwise
- Binding: 1/2 yard
- 12 1/2" square ruler
