Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Square up fabric
  • Use a rotary cutter and ruler
  • Sew along a diagonal

Pattern Description:

I love going to flea markets and finding beautiful old grain sacks or flour sacks. The prints are so darling and dainty. This quilt is inspired by those lovely vintage fabrics. Use reproduction prints, old flour sacks or a combination of both (like I did!). Instructions are simple and come with lots of illustrations to make it easier on the quilter. Enjoy!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 80'' x 80''


  • 16 fat quarters or vintage flour sacks measuring 18" x 21"
  • 3 1/4 yards peach fabric
  • 3/8 yards mint fabric
  • 3/4 yards binding fabric:
  • 5 yards backing fabric
  • 88'' x 88'' cotton batting
