We happened upon this turtle feeding off the coral while snorkeling in Hawaii. The photo hung in my office for years. I wanted to move the turtle picture to the RV, but will not hang glass, or traditional frames,as I fear they will scratch the walls. I also like to be able to store my pictures and change them.

This no-sew soft fabric Art Quilt design is perfect for decorating an RV, or anywhere you do not want glass, Art quilts store easily, and take little space, making them ideal for a small apartment, home or RV.

If you sew, embellishments and quilting will add additional interest and make it your own!

*** Note *** I DO NOT do turned edge applique. This pattern is for fusible applique. The pattern pieces ARE NOT blown out of the drawing.

green fabric - fat quarter for shell
6" x 8" brown for shell ring
8" sq dark brown for belly, rear fin
8" sq light variated brown for front fin
scraps of various colors for tropical fish
16" x 20" water fabric
16" x 8" sandy bottom fabric
1/3 yd rusty brown for frame
embroidery scissors or other sharp scissors
Rotary cutter
