Pattern Description:
Turkey Talk was born when I decided I wanted an autumnal project that would include both paper piecing and embroidery. The turkey came first...and then his words!
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 12 1/2" x 19"
Materials:
- FQ or 1/4 yard of background fabric
- Fat Eighth in yellow and orange (feathers)
- small amounts of brown, tan, red and orange (body, head/neck, waddle, beak)
- Embroidery floss or DMC in brown (text) and black (eye)
You Will Also Need:
- rotary cutter
- ruler
- rotary mat
- thread
- Add-A-Quarter Ruler (optional)
- sewing machine
- paper scissors
- embroidery needle (for hand stitching)
