Fabric Requirements
Large Quilt
1 Layer Cake or 33 x 10 inch squares
90cm ( 1yd ) for the background of the tulips and stems
45 cm (1/2 yd), for the first border
80cm ( 7/8 yd ) for the second border
50cm (5/8 yd) for binding
Batting at least 180 cm x 160 cm (72 x 64 inches)
Backing - 3.5m (3 7/8yd) or 3m plus left over squares from the top

Small Quilt
6 fat quarters for the flowers and square blocks
60cm (2/3yd) for the background of the tulips and stems
80cm (7/8 yd) for the stems and border
40cm (3/8yd) for the binding
Batting - 125cm x 140cm (49in x 55in)
Backing 2.5m (2 3/4 yd) or 1.5m plus left over fabrics from the quilt top
