This handy placemat and napkin set will brighten any table at any time of the year. Constructed using (foundation) paper piecing, this pattern is suitable for a sewist with basic paper-piecing experience. The borders are patched using the same fabric as the trees and the little tree added to the napkin brings the whole set together.
Make it bright, make it seasonal but remember in the world of sewing, trees can be any colour you like. And if you do not know how to paper-piece then check out the Appliqued Trees Placemat and Napkin pattern.
Basic paper piecing instructions are not included
This pattern is for personal use but permission is also granted to make this item to sell provided the item is handmade by you and you credit the Patchsmith for the design. No mass production allowed.

I am the Patchsmith. I patch, applique, sew and quilt. I have been creating a life of fabric, fun and friends for many, many years. I believe a pattern should be easy to follow, with clear diagrams and full-size templates. Value is also very important to me - both in terms of fabric wastage and to the buyer. Patchwork is about sharing and that is why all my patterns are priced for everybody ...
