I absolutely adore the simplicity and clean, crisp lines of this modern throw quilt. It offers such a fun way to showcase your favorite assortment of prints, without using up a ton of yardage from each (each pinwheel requires just 1 fat quarter or 1/8 yd off the bolt, and you'll still have leftovers to play with). Whether you're brand new to foundation paper piecing, or a seasoned expert, you're sure to have fun putting your spin on this design in your favorite fabrics, to create a totally unique, fresh modern quilt. I pride myself in offering patterns with clear, concise instructions and diagrams, as well as helpful tutorial and resource links to help boost your paper piecing confidence. This pattern also includes full-size printable templates.

Amy is a mom of 4, and a passionate quilt designer and instructor, as well as a newly published author. Her new book, For Keeps: Meaningful Patchwork for Everyday Living will be out Spring 2015 through Lucky Spool Media. Amy learned to sew as a young girl in 4-H, and has been addicted to patchwork ever since the 5th grade. Her work can be seen in McCall's Quilting, Australian Quilter's Companion, Fat Quarterly, Moda Bake Shop, and even the Denver Art Museum, and she was also nominated for the 2014 Instructor of the Year by the International Association of Creative Arts Professionals. A seasoned Craftsy instructor, Amy is perhaps most well known for her popular 2012 Craftsy Block of the Month video series. Truth be told, she's not quite sure how she manages to find time to sew at all, amidst homeschooling, a rambunctious puppy, and endless mountains of laundry, but she's pretty sure the secret lies somewhere between an incredibly supportive husband, faith, and good coffee.
