Pattern Description:

This cute quilt is a large wall hanging (or a nice nap sized quilt or bed throw) that depicts Three Blind Mice from the nursery rhyme. They are joyfully strolling across the center panel and the words to the rhyme are playfully written in the inner border. The colors can easily be changed to fit your needs. You can also leave off the words or the outer border and make a crib quilt.
There is a tutorial on my blog, Buzzing and Bumbling, that shows my easy method of applique, although any method, including machine applique, can be used for this quilt.

Materials:

Fabric: black for center panel - 1 yd., white with dots for border - 2/3 yd., dk. gray for border - 1/3 yd., green dotted for border - 3/4 yd., black with stars for border - 1/2 yd., fat quarter in white for mice, scraps for mouse clothing - gray, green, dk. green, brown, tie dye, blue, yellow, red
embroidery floss in black to embroider words or go around painted words, also in pink, red, and brown
