Pattern Description:

Make a fast, easy and fun neighborhood!

I love house quilts, but most of them have too many pieces for me. So, I designed this great little block to satisfy my house need! I can envision it in so many great fabric combinations: springy, winter, holiday, mid century modern, reproduction...

Because so many of you saw the pin of the original bee quilt I made from this block and asked for a pattern, I've just added two new sizes to this pattern - a throw at 64" x 64" and a wall quilt at 48" x 40". See the pictures for fabric info.

For my holiday version, I added a little rick rack to two of the blocks for a fun "snow" detail.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 12 1/2" x 48 1/2"
  • 48" x 40"
  • 64" x 64"

Hi! I'm Debbie and I love to design and make quilts! Bold, graphic quilts are my favorites.

It is rare that I go for two days without sewing. Check out my blog ( to see what I'm up to!
