Pattern Description:
The Man Quilt is a quick, manly quilt. It uses only 5 fabrics, and it's uniform, geometric pieces suggest masculinity. Imagine using fabrics from your man's favorite sports. Or use prints with forest animals for the outdoorsman. My men (husband and 3 grown sons) like to keep things simple. So, that's what we've done in this quilt that's just for them.
However... it does make a great girly quilt, too!
However, you have my permission to make a girly quilt with it, too.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Materials given for twin size 71" X 87"
- Also gives throw size 59" X 71", queen size 91" X 107" and king size 115" X 115"
Materials:
- Fabric A (focus print): 2 1/8 yd
- Fabric B (light) : rectangles 1 1/8 yd
- Fabric C (medium) : rectangles 1 1/8 yd
- Fabric D (med/dark) : rectangles 1 1/8 yd
- Fabric E (dark): squares, inner border and binding 2 1/8 yd
- Backing 5 1/4 yd
- Batting 2 1/8 yd
