Basic Skills Necessary:

  • You should know how to use your sewing machine and how to piece and quilt, or stitch three layers together. There is also some hand redwork embroidery.

Pattern Description:

Redwork (or coloured) stitchery is delightful! I don't do a lot of hand stitching but I find redwork stitchery quite relaxing and fairly quick to do. This delightful quilt has some fun little stitcheries on it and looks great either as a redwork quilt or done in multi colours. The instructions for the stitchery are included.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Approx, 55" x 64"

  • 1/3 yard plain fabric for stitcheries
  • 20 x 5" strips (width of fabric) for patches
  • 1 yard fabric for border and binding

You Will Also Need:

  • Stranded embroidery cotton for stitchery
  • Stabilizer for behind the stitchery
  • Batting - 60" x 70"
  • Backing - 60" x 70"
  • General sewing supplies
