- You should know how to use your sewing machine and how to piece and quilt, or stitch three layers together. There is also some hand redwork embroidery.
Pattern Description:
Redwork (or coloured) stitchery is delightful! I don't do a lot of hand stitching but I find redwork stitchery quite relaxing and fairly quick to do. This delightful quilt has some fun little stitcheries on it and looks great either as a redwork quilt or done in multi colours. The instructions for the stitchery are included.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Approx, 55" x 64"
Materials:
- 1/3 yard plain fabric for stitcheries
- 20 x 5" strips (width of fabric) for patches
- 1 yard fabric for border and binding
You Will Also Need:
- Stranded embroidery cotton for stitchery
- Stabilizer for behind the stitchery
- Batting - 60" x 70"
- Backing - 60" x 70"
- General sewing supplies
